These vary between study programs and levels. For each course, Indian students will need to meet a minimum English language requirement. Along with that a minimum academic record of 65% and above in Class XII will be required. Foundations and Diploma programs are available for students who have secured below 60%. Students should have completed 18 years of age before joining a degree program.

In most cases, you will have to make an account on the college website to provide your basic information, submit the scanned version of your documents, and pay application fee. All colleges require that you pay an application fee while applying. The fee amount will differ depending upon the college and course being applied to, so check with individual colleges about their application fee.

Studying in New Zealand can become quite an expensive affair, but if you plan well in advance, you can apply to a range of scholarships offered by the Kiwi universities and colleges. Open to meritorious international students to help them fund their studies, these can be partial or fully paid, depending on the criteria, course and the institution.
Many scholarships and bursaries are also offered by the New Zealand government, and various private and public establishments as well. When applying to any of these scholarships, make sure you check the criteria carefully, along with the application closing date.
You wll need a student visa if you are planning to study in New Zealand full time and the course is for longer than three months.

New Zealand student visas usually allow full-time students to work up to 20 hours a week during the academic year and up to 40 hours a week during the summer break. This applies to both secondary school and tertiary students. Research master's and PhD students can work 40 hours a week all year round.
You will be paid at least the minimum wage of NZ$17.70 an hour, though you may earn more than this. You will also be paid for annual and public holidays, and for rest breaks.
